Is This Necessary?
I seriously want to spend my summer as an Idol Camp counselor. Can you image?? You know it's going to be chock full of delusional wannabes who can't sing for shit just like in the auditions. I bet they'll have special coaching sessions by AI has-beens like Justin Guarini, Ruben, Fantasia, and that little Long Island girl who sounded like Fran Drescher. www.IdolCamp.com

Book 7 Cover Art
Here is the cover art for the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series. We know some main characters - including perhaps Harry - are going to get knocked-off in the last book...You know they'll revive this shit in 2030 with the prequel where you get to see James and Lily (Harry's dead parents) as they deal with a young Voldemort. I can see it now....just like Star Wars.
Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt is totally going to play a young Lily Potter.

LOL
OK. Seriously I still cannot believe Gayle King is still on American Idol. AND I can't believe Chris -Justin Timberlake- Richardson was in the bottom freakin' two. My faves are Jordin, Blake, and Chris.

Another thing I noticed...whenever they show Blake singing they ALWAYS cut to drooling fags in the audience. Is Blake a mo??
Did anyone see that crying girl when Gayle was singing. OMG. What was wrong with her??

Earl and the Chipmunks
Ok - so this will probably suck hard. But that didn't stop me from watching Garfield, Scooby-Doo, and all those other CGI made movies of 80's cartoons. So now...they are doing Alvin & the Chipmunks with a November 2007 release and Jason Lee from My Name is Earl will be playing Dave.
I totally hope they have the Chipettes, Brittany, Eleanor, and Jeannette in it too. LOL.
I'll also be seeing the Smurfs trilogy that is planned for Nov. 2008 release. Oh yes. CGI and probably really creepy. HA- remember the SNL skit...Hilar.

For My Birthday Next Year...
Someone at work told me about this. I think I would probably barf. Seriously who thinks of this stuff? I need a gimmick.
Dinner in the Sky takes place at a table suspended at a height of 50 metres by a team of professionals. Can you imagine?

He's Not Lost
Since my Boston trip to see Chris and Shelley fell through cuz of the ice storm on Friday, I went to a late brunch yesterday with my friend Thom. Along the way we ran into David and he joined us at Mr. Biggs on 10th Avenue. Our original plan was to catch an afternoon showing of Zodiac but the beers got the best of us. It was St. Patrick's Day afterall.
While we were there eating in walks the crazy guy "Ben" from Lost who plays the leader of the Others. I stopped watching that stupid show this season so I wouldn't have recognized him. Bitch looks so much more older and decrepit in real life. Both Thom and David confirmed it was him.
I know big effing deal...but it's been a slow weekend, that's all I got.

She's So Outrageous
OK....I just have to say....The Anna Nicole Story has completely fascinated me from the beginning.
And I mean the beginning. I was glued to the TV during The Anna Nicole Show on E! back in 2002. Yahmecha and I would get off work, come home with a bottle of wine and just watch that shit with our mouths a gape. What a train wreck.
So...fast forward to 5 years later. Of COURSE I'm going to watch The Tyra Banks Show with the first and only interview with her ex-assistant Kimmie who tatooed a picture of Anna on her arm.....But that wasn't the best part.....guess who else was on.

BOBBY TRENDY

Oh Yes. Oh Yes. WOW. His outfit was out of the world....I mean it OUT OF THIS WORLD.
I just love Hot Messes. How can you not just look at it? It's like an accident...you just have to slow it up and roll the window down just a little.
Speaking of Hot Messes...Who thinks Sanjaya looks like Oprah's bff, Gayle King?? My roommate said that from the very beginning and we've been referring to Sanjaya as "Gayle" ever since.

I Predict this Movie is Crap
I cannot understand the plot of this movie for the life of me....I've seen the trailer a million times and I just get really confused.
I love the part at the end when Faye Dunaway's like "Jim's dead, dear." The way she says it is so funny...it reminds me of the James Van Der Beek line from Varsity Blues..."I don't want your life!"
I'm lovin' the poster though...

Once Disney Goes Black...
I just read that Disney has just announced it's first "black" princess - I guess I didn't even realize that there never was a black princess in the first place.According to the article, The Walt Disney Co. has started production on an animated musical fairy tale called "The Frog Princess," which will be set in New Orleans and feature the Walt Disney Studio's first black princess.
The film is due in 2009. Wow. 2009 - that is soooo like the future or something.

Nanny Dish
I'm really excited to see The Nanny Diaries with ScarJo, the hottness that is Chris Evans, Alicia Keys, and Laura Linney. But the real Nanny diary that I wanna read about is non other than her Madgesty...
TMZ is reporting that Madge's former nanny, Melissa Dumas to Lourdes, Rocco, and lil' David Banda has sold out and is penning a tell-all trash-talkin' book that is due in September about what a bitchbag Madonna is. Apparently, the Material Mom's personal homestead habits will be exposed in Live to Tell: My Life As Madonna's Nanny and I will be reading that shit up eating my popcorn and slurping my big gulp.
Page Six reports, Madonna won't let anyone make noise while she sleeps, including taking a shower -- and that includes hubby Guy Ritchie and the kids. The tell-all also reveals that Madge enforces a strict household media ban and a stringent dietary regimen. Live to tell? We're not so sure.
Wow. This Melissa bitch is going to have one big LCD on her tombstone come this fall.
I'm soooo going to read this trash. I love Madonna and after seeing her kids, Lourdes and Rocco, in her tour documentary I'm Going to Tell You A Secret, I'm excited to see what they bring to the entertainment world in about 10 years time or so.

Wave of the Future?
I'm just not sure about this. I mean I love a montage...but picture it....2016...you're walking through a peaceful cemetary and the beautiful serenity is clouded by a onslaught of rotating images and most likely Enya-esque music blaring throughout the death field.
Just not so sure about this shit....

I'm Back
Okay, so I've been a little outta the blogsphere lately but hopefully I'll be getting back with it a little more. Lots has been going on...and lots more to come. I'm moving to Washinton D.C. in 3 weeks so I've been a little stressed. Life changes... fun and scary, but good for the soul. Dan was here over the weekend, we caught the true-story, spy flick Breach on Saturday and then went hopping around NYC to an array of different bars. We had brunch at Velseka in the East Village, then the movie in Union Square, drinks at a fag bar in Chelsea, and then uptown to midtown where we rounded out the evening with some Posh, Barrage, Therapy and good old fashioned diner food at Renaissance Diner on 9th Avenue.
A gross pair of gays were sucking face right next to Dan at Posh and my way of shooing them away was louding singing Beyonce's forever-stuck-in-your-head-lyric "To The Left" hoping they would get the hint. Thought I was gonna barf.
